We honestly believed that this shopping tour sounded too good to be true, however, it was all that it was described by other reviewers …and more. Karen exceeded our expectations right from the get-go when we first expressed interest in the VIP shopping tour for my fiancé & I, right through to the follow up after the tour had been completed (including an invitation to a NYC-based fashion event). Karen is clearly an expert in the fashion industry who loves what she does, knows what she is talking about and is therefore the perfect shopping partner with all the right contacts to get exclusive and private access to the latest top-end designer collections and in some cases, the next season’s collections too (many of which feature in well-known fashion publications worn by a number of A-list celebs).
Shopping with Karen is like shopping with a close friend, she made it a point to get to know us as much as possible and provides honest opinions throughout – the whole experience is fun-filled & luxurious. Karen had paid close attention to what we were looking for and set up appointments with a number of renowned designers accordingly – speaking to the designers about their work makes this experience all the more special. We both walked away with incredible pieces.
For anybody looking for high quality, gorgeous pieces together with personalized guidance from an expert in the fashion industry, this is an absolute must do. Pricing varies according to what you are looking to spend so there’s something for everybody and in every case, there are some great savings to be made. We could not have been more pleased. In fact, my goodies arrived today, and it’s like reliving the day I was pampered and primped like a celebrity! I thought the price was a bit high, but willing to go for it. Well, I saved that at the first showroom, and there were 5 more to go. So from a budgetary standby, I am well ahead of the curve. Karen made sure everything went smoothly. We didn’t feel rushed and the designers rolled out the red carpet for us as though we were their only buyers. We purchased jewelry seen on the runway and the celebrity magazines as well as coats and clothes designed and cut specifically for our figures. I’m a full size 12 and there was a size 4 Bi-och with us. I digress, I could go on and on. I will definitely be back, and if you are considering this tour, just DO IT. You only live once, and everytime you see Manhattan on television, wear the clothes or read a magazine, you will be reminded of what a fabulous time you had.

Karen–Thank you so much for such a wonderful opportunity and FUN experience! From our first introduction at the hotel to “running into you” on the street the day after our shopping trip (and many texts later) you were professional, knowledgeable, and all-around SUPER! Girl, you certainly know your stuff…not only about fashion but of all facets of NYC. We appreciated you “taking care” of us. We felt like we had a FRIEND in the city from the get-go…It was amazing to me that not only did we get to see designers at work, but that we got to meet the designers (and stylists) and chat with them at every stop we made. Too, you nailed our styles with the designers you chose. How you could do that from a couple of pics that we sent via email is beyond me. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our excursion. I told everyone at home about it 🙂
“Thanksgiving Shopping Trip – Wife and Daughters – WOW”

As a surprise on their NYC trip, I booked the VIP tour with Karen for my wife and two daughters during Thanksgiving week. Let me tell you the one word I heard many times after the tour – “AWESOME”. I now have full bank of “Man Points” and “Dad Points” for sending them on this fun outing.
After doing some research, and emailing with Karen to setup a customized tour (this is very easy), the girls were treated to a one-of-a-kind experience tailored exactly to what they wanted to shop for. They met with some exciting top designers in NYC, and came back with smiling faces, and clothes, and handbags, and more bags, and etc. Riding around in the limo to each stop was incredibly convenient, and the girls felt very special!
This is the Disney World of Shopping Tours! Five stars is not enough….. If you want the person who is best at what they do…. Karen does it best. Guys, this is a no-brainer to book for your wife, daughters, significant other, etc.

Karen’s unique Style Room Shopping Tour Experience is an absolute MUST DO when in NYC! Covering many different styles it is a true ‘Sex in the City’ experience and the ultimate way to shop. Taken behind the scenes to designers’ showrooms and studios is bound to make anyone’s jaws drop, but wait until you see the clothes, jewellery, shoes, bags and accessories! And it gets better–you slice a good 50%-80% off what you would usually pay for. Karen is not only one of the loveliest New Yorkers we met, but a lady from the New York fashion industry herself. Her style and knowledge is endless and opened my eyes up to the not only the centre of the fashion world but also the city itself. We celebrated my sister-in-law’s 21st in top style (the champagne and limo made us feel like royalty) but in good company too. It was certainly a day to remember; the “normal” way of shopping will never be the same and will definitely be returning the next time I am in New York. Thank you for making our day so special Karen! I would recommend this tour to anyone for any occasion. Shop til you drop!
