Karen Has Extensive Fashion Experience
Karen Parker O'Brien is a seasoned NYC fashion veteran with over 20 years of experience. Her love for the industry began early, launching two jewelry lines in high school. This led her to a career encompassing diverse roles, from managing, and buying for a couture boutique on Madison Avenue to owning her own successful wholesale fashion rep showroom.
As President of her showroom, Karen played a pivotal role in introducing numerous emerging designers to prestigious retailers like Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Her extensive experience includes exhibiting at over 150 trade shows as well as traveling the globe for merchandise meetings with her designers. Here they discussed their new collections for her long list of stores she sold to.
